Heirloom Millwork, Built by Hand.
Cabinetry and built-ins designed and crafted to your exact dimensions — joinery refined over decades, finishes chosen to last a generation.

The difference between cabinetry and millwork.
Most kitchens are filled with cabinets. The very best kitchens are filled with millwork — built-in furniture that just happens to hold the dishes. The difference is visible in the joinery, the finish, the proportion of the door, the way a drawer feels in your hand.
We design and build to that higher standard, whether the project is an entire home library, a single butler's pantry, a primary closet, or the cabinetry that anchors a kitchen.

A floor-to-ceiling library, milled to a single millimeter.
For a Makawao client, we designed and built a full library wrapping three walls of a study — solid mahogany, hand-rubbed finish, fluted columns, and hidden doors leading to a wine room behind the shelving. Every shelf was scribed to a slightly out-of-plumb existing wall so the joints disappear.
Three categories where custom millwork transforms a home.
From the most public room of the house to the most private, built-in cabinetry quietly reorganizes how a family lives.
Kitchen CabinetryThe architecture of how you cook.
Inset doors, dovetailed drawers, soft-close hardware, and inserts engineered to your specific knives, spices, and small appliances. Built to your exact wall dimensions, not pulled from a catalog.
Libraries & Built-InsFurniture that becomes architecture.
Bookshelves, media built-ins, window seats, and entry benches — designed and milled to feel as though the house was framed around them. Often the single most transformative move a room can receive.
Closets & StorageStorage that disappears into the wall.
Primary closets, mudrooms, butler's pantries, and laundry rooms — designed around the way you actually live, finished to the same standard as the rest of the home, and quiet enough that you stop noticing the storage at all.

Solid wood, dovetail joinery, and finishes built for Maui.
Solid hardwood face frames and doors. Dovetailed drawer boxes in solid maple. Full-extension undermount slides. Inset construction, scribed to existing walls. These are the construction standards we hold ourselves to on every project, regardless of budget.
Our library spans rift-sawn white oak, walnut, sapele, mahogany, cherry, and figured maple — finished with hand-rubbed oils, conversion varnishes, and lacquers chosen to age beautifully under Maui's sun and humidity.

The brass, bronze, and small things that elevate everything.
Hardware is the jewelry of millwork. We source from a roster of solid-brass, bronze, and stainless makers we have trusted for over a decade — pulls, knobs, latches, and hinges chosen to age into a patina rather than wear into a tarnish.
Edge details, reveal lines, light rails, finished interiors, integrated charging stations, soft-close everything — the details that separate good cabinetry from great are mostly invisible until you live with them. Then they become impossible to do without.

A workshop where we still touch every piece by hand.
Our cabinetry is designed in our shop, milled to your exact dimensions, and finished by craftspeople who have been building together for years. Nothing is ordered from a faraway catalog and assembled on site. The continuity of the team — from the first design conversation through the last drawer that gets installed — is the quiet reason our work is so consistent.
Four phases, from blank wall to installed millwork.
A clear path from first measurement to final installation — engineered for fit, finish, and the long life of the work.
Discovery
We measure the space, understand exactly how you intend to use it, and develop a design language that connects to the rest of the home.
Design
Shop drawings, full elevations, hardware and finish samples, and a transparent line-item budget — all confirmed before milling begins.
Build
Pieces are built and pre-finished in our shop, then delivered and installed on site in a single, tightly choreographed window.
Reveal
We scribe every reveal, adjust every door, and walk the finished work with you to make sure each piece performs the way it was promised.

When every room shares the same hand.
There is a quiet luxury to a home in which the kitchen, the library, the closets, and the bathrooms all share the same construction standards, the same hardware vocabulary, and the same finish quality. The eye reads continuity — even when each room expresses it differently.
We love being engaged for an entire home so we can carry that continuity through every room — but we are equally happy being trusted with a single butler's pantry done to the same standard.
A glimpse of recent built-ins and cabinetry.
Each piece designed and built for one home and one family — never repeated.

"We did not understand what custom cabinetry actually meant until we lived with it. Three years in, every door still closes the same way it did the first day. The work is on a different level entirely."
